Clarksville Police say that Stoves are a Hot Item

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) report that in the least three to five days, there have been three unoccupied residences being renovated or under construction that were broken into and had stoves stolen.

They were taken from Hawkins Road, Richardson Street, and Gracey Avenue. In two of the residences, the back door was kicked and in the third, entry was made through a opening created after removing an air conditioning unit.

Clarksville Police report Vandals Damage 10 Vehicles over Thanksgiving Holiday

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – According to the Clarksville Police Department, there were 10 cars vandalized over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend causing over $5,000 in damages.

The cars were struck by BB gun fire in the areas of Richardson Street, Swift Drive, Woodmont Boulevard, Central Avenue, and Cardinal Lane which are in close proximity to each other.

The National Weather Service reported between six to seven and one half inches of rain in Montgomery County. Currently, 3,433 CEMC Montgomery County customers are without power and 409 CDE customers are without power.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed the northbound lane of Richardson Street at the intersection of Woodard Street and Summit Heights for water meter replacement work.

The intersection will be passable; however, motorist may wish to seek an alternate route to avoid traffic congestion.

The work is anticipated to be finished and the lane reopened by 3:30pm.

Clarksville Police report Shots Fired at the Lower Loop of Summit Heights

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Saturday evening, March 14th, 2015 at 11:42pm, the Clarksville Police Department was dispatched to a shots fired call, which occurred near the lower loop of Summit Heights (in the area of Richardson Street and Paradise Hill Road). There were no reported injuries.
