AAA says most Thanksgiving Holiday Travelers will see Cheaper Gas Prices this year

 

AAATampa, FL – AAA says for the 49 million Americans hitting the road for the Thanksgiving holiday, they will find gas prices mostly similar, if not cheaper, than last year’s holiday. Today’s national average is $2.59. That is just a few cents over the 2018 holiday weekend average of $2.57.

“During Thanksgiving week last year we saw the national gas price average decrease a nickel between Monday and Thursday, that could be the case again this year,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson.

AAA reports Gas Prices drop across most of United States

 

AAATampa, FL – On the week, gas prices are mostly cheaper across the country. A small number of states saw pump prices decrease more than a dime, though the majority saw fluctuation of a few pennies. Today’s national average of $2.59 is two cents cheaper than last week.

“An increase in gasoline stocks amid robust demand helped to push gas prices cheaper on the week,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson.

U.S. Army Warrior Care and TransitionFort Bragg, NC – Representing Team Army and competing at the 2019 Department of Defense Warrior Games in Tampa, Florida in June was the highlight of all Sgt. 1st Class Ian Crawley’s hard work. Now, the Soldier from the Warrior Transition Battalion, Fort Campbell, Kentucky wants another shot.

“Honestly I feel like I have unfinished business [at the DoD Warrior Games]. I’m trying to improve on what got me there before,” said Crawley who is participating in the Adaptive Reconditioning Camp at Fort Bragg, North Carolina this week.

AAA reports Growing Gas Stocks Help to Push National Average Lower

 

AAATampa, FL – AAA says that according to newly released data from the Energy Information Administration, total domestic stocks of gasoline grew by 1.9 million bbl last week, bringing the current stock level to 219.1 million bbl.

This is 7.5 million bbl lower than last year at this time.

AAA reports Growing Gas Demand Lifts National Average

 

AAATampa, FL – AA says in its latest weekly report, the Energy Information Administration data shows that demand for gasoline grew from 9.59 million b/d to 9.78 million b/d last week.

This latest rate is approximately 520,000 b/d higher than last year’s rate at this time. Growing demand, amid tight gasoline supplies, has contributed to a nominal increase in the national average – one cent since Monday.

AAA Says Jump in Gasoline Demand Drives Down Stocks, but National Average Remains Flat on the Week

 

AAATampa, FL – Gasoline demand numbers look more like summer than fall in the Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) latest reports. However, despite the high demand rate and a draw in U.S stocks, the national average held steady on the week at $2.60.

“Gas prices continue to fluctuate across the country, though on the week the majority of states saw prices only increase or decrease by one or two cents,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson.

AAA says Pump Prices continue to Fall for Majority of Motorists

 

AAATampa, FL – AAA reports that the national gas price average dropped by four cents on the week to $2.60, despite a jump in gasoline demand and a draw in gasoline stocks.

That is the largest one-week decrease since gas prices started to increase more than six weeks ago. Today’s average is a nickel cheaper than last month and 21-cents cheaper than last year at this time.

Nashville Predators defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning in overtime 3-2

 

Nashville PredatorsTampa, FL – The Nashville Predators picked up a huge road win tonight as they defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2.

The Predators were led by their captain Roman Josi, who scored the game tying goal to send the game to overtime.

Nashville was without Filip Forsberg for the fifth straight game and Matt Duchene, injured on Thursday night, both with lower body injuries.

The Predators scored first at 14:24 of the opening period when Callie Jarnkrok beat Lightning goalie Curtis McElhinney for the early 1-0 lead.

AAA reports National Gas Price Average Slowly, but Steadily Declines for Three Weeks

 

AAATampa, FL – AAA says despite an unseasonal spike in demand, according to the Energy Information Admiration’s (EIA) latest data sets, gas prices are decreasing for the majority of motorists across the country as crude oil prices (WTI) remain under $54.00/bbl.

Today, the national average gas price is $2.63, which is two cents less than last week and 26 cents cheaper than last year, but six-cents more expensive than last month.

AAA says Majority of United States Pays Less to Fill-Up, California’s Gas Prices Spike

 

AAATampa, FL – AAA reports that the national gas price average continues to hold steady on the week at $2.65, which is nine cents more expensive than last month, but 26 cents cheaper than a year ago.

Most motorists around the country are seeing prices decline or stabilize, with the majority of states seeing gas prices decrease by as much as a nickel since last Monday.
