Visit Clarksville announces Tennessee East-West All-Star Classic to be held in Clarksville

 

Visit Clarksville TennesseeClarksville, TN – Tennessee’s top 88 senior football players will once again compete in Clarksville for the Tennessee East-West All-Star Classic, scheduled to be played at Austin Peay State University (APSU) on Friday, December 13th, 2019.

“We’re very excited for the players and coaches who have accepted an invitation to be a part of Tennessee’s premier all-star event,” stated Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association (TACA) Executive Director Bill Marbet.

Aspire Clarksville Foundation Announces $4.4 Million Campaign Achievement

Aspire Clarksville, is a charitable foundation whose mission is to continuously improve the economy and quality of life of the community by attracting significant capital investment and expansion by businesses and corporations, thereby creating better opportunities and higher-paying jobs for Clarksville-Montgomery County, Tennessee, residents.

Clarksville Wayfinding project begins

 

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – Some old signs are coming down and new signs are going up across Clarksville and Montgomery County as part of a local wayfinding signage update designed to help residents and visitors find local attractions and points of interest.

The signage project is a partnership between the City of Clarksville, Visit Clarksville (the Clarksville-Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau) and Austin Peay State University (APSU).

Clarksville to Host Amateur Athletic Union Boys’ Basketball National Championships for 2021, 2023

 

Visit Clarksville TennesseeClarksville, TN – Officials with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) last week named Clarksville as the site of the 2021 and 2023 Boys Basketball National Championships for 10-and-Under and 4th Grade Division I and Division II.

Visit Clarksville officials estimate attendance of 3,885 athletes, coaches, AAU officials and family members for approximately five nights for each yearly event.

The Riverside (CA) Hawks claimed the Division 1 10U Championship in Clarksville in 2018.

Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association Commits to Hold Tennessee East-West All-Star Classic in Clarksville for 4 Years

 

Visit Clarksville TennesseeClarksville, TN – Officials with the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association (T.A.C.A) and Visit Clarksville have signed a new four-year contract to stage the annual Tennessee East-West All-Star Classic at Fortera Stadium on the campus of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville. The game has been played at the home of the Governors for the past two years, and the new contract solidifies the presence of the contest in Clarksville through the 2023 season.

Beginning at 2:00pm in Hangar 3 on Fort Campbell Army Post, the doors will swing open and our Vietnam Veterans will march in to the sounds of the Army band and cheers they have deserved for more than 40 years.
