Morehead, KY – Austin Peay’s softball team had its biggest offensive output of the season on Saturday, in its Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader against Morehead State, but it still wasn’t enough, as the Lady Govs dropped both ends of the twinbill by scores of 5-2 and 16-11.
Austin Peay (3-15, 0-2 OVC) finished the day with 19 hits in the doubleheader – including four home runs – but saw Morehead State have four innings in which it scored at least three runs, as the Eagles finished with 23 total hits on the day.
