Nashville, TN – Today’s scheduled 11:05am series finale between the Nashville Sounds and Omaha Storm Chasers at Greer Stadium has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions resulting from heavy rains throughout Middle Tennessee.
The game will be made up as part of a 5:35pm CT doubleheader on Wednesday, June 22nd at Greer Stadium. Both contests of the twinbill will be scheduled for seven innings.
After an off day on Wednesday, Nashville left-hander Amaury Rivas (3-1, 2.59) is scheduled to take the hill in Thursday’s series opener against Albuquerque Isotopes’ right-hander Tim Redding (0-2, 13.14).
Tickets for today’s game (April 26th) may be exchanged for tickets of equal or lesser value, pending availability, to any remaining 2011 Sounds regular-season home game. Please visit the Greer Stadium box office to exchange your tickets.
