APSU Sports: Austin Peay Men’s Tennis
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team won its second straight Ohio Valley Conference match, Saturday, defeating SIU Edwardsville, 7-0.
The Govs won the doubles point for the second straight match, and went on to win all six singles matches.
In singles play, Sean Bailey won in straight sets at No. 1 singles. Ademovic and Dimitar Ristovski also won straight-set matches at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. With the match in hand, the Govs won each of the bottom three singles matches in pro-set fashion.
Austin Peay will look to make it three in a row, Tuesday, when it hosts Eastern Illinois.
