Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted saturation patrols April 13th and April 14th, 2012 which was partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
The saturation patrol special in conjunction with routine patrol operations took 14 DUI offenders off the streets of Clarksville between between April 14th-16th.

Some of the characteristics of the arrests were:
- Majority of the arrests occurred between midnight and 5:00am
- Locations of arrests varied:
- (4) Fort Campbell Boulevard
- (2) Wilma Rudolph Boulevard
- (2) 101st Airborne Parkway
- (6) Random locations—Riverside Drive, Dover Crossing Road, North 2nd Street, Chalet Circle, Roselawn Drive, Tiny Town Road
- Reasons vehicles stopped:
- (3) Accidents
- (3) Citizen complaints
- (8) Traffic Violations (speeding, running red-light, tarp violation, weaving/riding brakes/under speed limit/ lane violations)
- Age Range: 21-54 years old
- (9) 21-29 years old
- (4) 30-39 years old
- (1) 54 year old
- Gender: Male (11), Female (3)
- BAC Levels — .078-.182, Several had blood draws and results are pending, 2-Refused testing
- Other charges: (4) Suspended/Revoked or No Drivers License, Unlawful Carrying of a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, No Proof of Insurance, Simple Possession, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Open Container, Speeding, Reckless Endangerment
