Clarksville, TN – Join Clarksville Parks and Recreation this Saturday, August 17th, at Liberty Park for this week’s Movies in the Park event, featuring the Oscar winning movie, “Les Miserables,” which is rated PG-13.
Les Miserables takes place in 19th century France where Jean Valjean breaks parole and is hunted by policeman Javert. Later he agrees to take care of factory worker Fantine’s daughter, Cosette. That decision changes their lives forever.
Movies in the Park to show Les Miserables August 17th
All movies begin at dusk, with pre-show activities, “Move before the Movies,” taking place an hour prior. This week’s “Move before the Movies” is a 45 minute, free yoga class. Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to bring their own yoga mats.
As always, you are welcome to bring your picnic basket, but concessions will also be available. Be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Sorry, no pets allowed.
