Roy Gregory, Executive Director for University Advancement, will emcee a short pregame ceremony at 5:00pm, with speakers to include University President Tim Hall, athletics director Derek van der Merwe, men’s basketball head coach Dave Loos and Jenkins himself.

For more than 60 years, the Jenkins & Wynne Ford-Lincoln-Honda automobile dealership has been an integral part of the Clarksville community.

The business is known for its customer service and honesty, which is why it has thrived for generations. Jenkins also is currently serving as Chairman for the Clarksville-Montgomery County Industrial Development Board.

As a young man, Don Jenkins washed cars on the lot and watched his father, Vernon Jenkins, work to improve the surrounding community.

Don Jenkins took those lessons to heart, and now, as CEO of the dealership, he is continuing his father’s legacy by providing great leadership to Clarksville, particularly at Austin Peay State University.

Immediately following the naming ceremony, there will be a reception in the Govs Club Room on the second level of the Dunn Center.
