Clarksville Gas and Water Department plans Road closure on Tobacco Road for water service line replacement

Traffic detour; Nottingham Place and Sandburg Drive

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned water service line replacement work on Tobacco Road at 8:00am on Thursday, August 18th, 2022, and will close the road from Nottingham Place to Sandburg Drive during the work.

Tobacco Road will only be accessible to local traffic and emergency vehicles.
 
All other traffic will be detoured to Nottingham Place and Sandburg Drive to avoid the work zone.
 
The water service line replacement is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 1:00pm.
