Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports Tobacco Road closed for Water Main Leak Repair

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has closed a section of Tobacco Road from Sandburg Drive to Jack Miller Boulevard for water main leak repair.
It may be necessary for utility crews to turn off water service on Tobacco Road in the aforementioned area to allow for the repair.

Clarksville, TN – On Monday, July 27th, 2020, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department turned off water service on Tobacco Road from Wild Fern Lane to Nussbaumer Road for fire hydrant replacement work.
The water outage will also affect the Creek Bend Mobile Home Park.

The southbound lane of Tobacco Road has also been closed between Tiny Town Road and Sturdivant Drive to allow for the water main leak repair work.

Clarksville Police Officer Alan Greenman Involved in Traffic Crash while Responding to a Carjacking

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officer Alan Greenman, 32, had a single vehicle traffic crash while responding to a carjacking which occurred in the 2000 block of Robin Drive around 11:30pm, Thursday, March 28th, 2019.
An unknown caller requested the delivery of a pizza to a Robin Drive address. When the female driver in her 20s arrived and exited her 2016 Ford Escape, she was approached by two men, one man from the front and the other from the back.

Clarksville Police report Barricaded Domestic Assault Suspect Palikna Tosie Surrenders

Clarksville, TN – A domestic disturbance in Clarksville escalated into felony assault and a barricaded suspect about 9:15am Saturday morning, June 30th, 2018 according to Clarksville Police.
The incident began with a domestic disturbance in a Sturdivant Drive residence. When a 34-year-old woman left the home in a Chevrolet Avalanche, her husband allegedly pursued her in a Chevrolet Camaro, ramming her off the roadway at Sturdivant Drive and Tobacco Road before attacking her on foot.
Chevrolet Avalanche was rammed off the road by a Chevrolet Camaro driven by Palikna Tosie.

Clarksville Police are searching for Clarence Smith for Aggravated Assault
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are trying to locate a man, Clarence Smith, 26, B/M with an Evading and Four Aggravated Assault Warrants on file.
On March 29th, 2018, around 11:30am, officers were flagged down on Tobacco Road by four females who said they had been shot at by Clarence Smith who fled from the area in a white Cadillac with a temporary tag; there were visible bullet holes in their car.
Clarksville Police is asking the public for help locating Clarence Smith.
