Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned a road closure on Main Street on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, at 6:30am from North First Street to North Second Street.
Traffic will be detoured to North First Street and North Second Street to avoid the work zone. Motorists are advised to slow down, be alert to workers and their equipment, and choose an alternate travel route when possible.
The natural gas line maintenance work is anticipated to be finished, and the road reopened by approximately 2:30pm.
