Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has closed a section of North Spring Street between 616 and 681 North Spring Street for natural gas line maintenance work.
Traffic will be detoured to North Riverside Drive and McClure Street while the work is underway.
North Spring Street will be accessible to local businesses. However, motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment when traveling through the work zone or to choose an alternate travel route to avoid the work zone.
The gas line work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 5:00pm.
