Onalaska, WI – Altra Federal Credit Union is proud to present its eighth annual Altra Gives Back Day, scheduled for Monday, October 13th, 2025. On this special day, all Altra offices and the member contact center will be closed as employees dedicate their time to volunteering with organizations in their local communities.
This year, over 400 Altra employees nationwide will participate in volunteer efforts across their core communities in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Tennessee, Texas, and New Jersey. In addition, remote employees will participate in Colorado, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. They’ll have the opportunity to support nearly 50 different organizations, contributing to initiatives such as financial education, senior centers, community gardens and trails, youth programs, and animal welfare.

The second Monday of October is a federal holiday, and financial institutions are often closed. Seven state Credit Union associations across the United States now participate in this day of service, including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Tennessee, and New Jersey.
