Clarksville Police have Marquis Hall in custody

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that Marquis D. Hall is in custody and has been booked into the Montgomery County Jail.

Hall was wanted for an aggravated assault that took place on Monday, March 9th, 2020 at Bel-Aire Park located at 124 Marie Drive.

A 27 year old man sustained a gunshot wound to his hand and hip. The investigation identified Marquis D. Hall as the shooter.

Clarksville Police are searching for Marquis Hall for Aggravated Assault

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday, March 9th, 2020 around 12:47pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to Bel-Aire Park at 124 Marie Drive in reference to an Aggravated Assault.

When responding officers arrived on scene, they made contact with a 27 year old man who had sustained a gunshot wound to his hand and hip. Based on the investigation, there had been a verbal altercation between the victim and Hall. Marquis D. Hall was identified as the shooter.

Clarksville Police are requesting the public's help in finding Marquis D. Hall. Hall is wanted for Aggravated Assault.

City of Clarksville braces for Flooding

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – Several Clarksville roads and park areas remained closed Saturday because of rising water, and the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, Clarksville Street Department and Clarksville Police continued to monitor parks, roads and travel conditions as more rain was forecast.

The National Weather Service issued flood warnings Saturday for the Cumberland River at Clarksville and the Red River at Port Royal, saying potentially life-threatening flooding will be possible.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation installs upgraded playground equipment at Bel-Aire Park

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation reopened Bel-Aire Park, a neighborhood green space on Marie Drive off of Peachers Mill Road, Thursday with new and improved playground equipment.

“When I became Mayor, one thing that was very important to me, was ensuring we had recreational opportunities, parks and other amenities for all children to enjoy,” Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan said.

The ceremony marked the official reopening of the park, after it received much needed equipment upgrades. Improvements include a new playground that meets the current guidelines under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
