Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office aids in apprehension of Shooting Suspect

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Early Monday morning, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) provided mutual aid assistance to the Hopkinsville Police Department and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) as they worked to locate and apprehend a robbery and officer shooting suspect who fled to Montgomery County.

Information gathered during the course of the investigation led law enforcement to the River Road area in Montgomery County. At approximately 8:54am, CCSO and MCSO deputies spotted the suspect driving a vehicle near Zinc Plant Road. The deputies activated their emergency equipment in an attempt to initiate a traffic stop.

Clarksville Police Charge Two Suspects with Criminal Homicide for Double Shooting on Lasalle Street

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, May 12th, 2016, at approximately 6:48 pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shots fired call at 19 Lasalle Street. When they arrived, they discovered the resident, 23-year-old James Tyler Wood, deceased on the scene.

Another male identified as 41-year-old Cuong Ba Nguyen was critically injured and transported to Tennova Medical Center. Mr Nguyen died as a result of his injuries.

Hands Across the Border kickoff

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, Friday, May 20th, 2016 at 1:00pm, the Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Kentucky State Police, Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Hopkinsville Police Department and Oak Grove Police Department put on a press event that was coordinated by the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO).

Law Enforcement Liaison (LEL) Tony Burnett from the THSO led the event by welcoming the media and others in attendance. He thanked all the law enforcement personnel representing each of the agencies and explained the Hands Across the Border (HATB) campaign.

Clarksville Montgomery County joins Hands Across the Border for Memorial Day holiday checkpoints and patrols

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – State of Tennessee and local officials from both Kentucky and Tennessee took the podium to explain the upcoming roadside safety checkpoints and saturation patrols slated for Montgomery County, Tennessee and Christian County, Kentucky tonight and tomorrow night, May 22nd and 23rd.

The locations of the checkpoints will be on U.S. 41-A near the state line.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Kentucky State Police, Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Hopkinsville Police Department and Oak Grove Police Department will be conducting roadside safety checkpoints and saturation patrols on May 22nd, 2015 and May 23rd, 2015 in Montgomery County, Tennessee and Christian County, Kentucky.
