Election 2016Cunningham, TN – On Saturday, July 30th, 2016 Merriel Bullock-Neal, candidate for the Circuit Court Judge 19th Judicial District Part III, talked to those in attendance at the 108th annual Lone Oak Picnic put on by the Central Civitan Club.

“I have a bachelor degree from Howard University in Washington D.C. I also have a masters in special education from Howard University. I have taught 5 years in the public school system. So I know what it’s like to be a classroom teacher, be involved with youth, be involved with families and so forth,” Bullock-Neal said.

“As a judicial candidate, I can’t tell you what I would do in a case. All I can tell you is my background, my experience and my family. I am retired military. I went to the United States Military Academy. Spent 20 years in the military and then retired from there,” said Crozier Jr.

Clarksville Montgomery County School System issues statement on Students Attending School

 

Clarksville-Montgomery County School System - CMCSSClarksville, TN – Circuit Court Judge William Goodman has issued a temporary restraining order that allows three students to return to their most recently attended schools until a hearing can be held to address their school zone residency.

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam Appoints Clarksville’s Jill Ayers as Circuit Court Judge for 19th Judicial District

 

Vacancy created when Tennessee General Assembly established additional Court

State of TennesseeNashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam has appointed Jill Bartee Ayers of Clarksville as Circuit Court Judge for Division IV of the 19th Judicial District, a position created by the Tennessee General Assembly earlier this year. The 19th Judicial District serves Montgomery County and Robertson County.

“We are fortunate to have someone with Jill’s legal experience to fill this important position,” Haslam said. “Citizens of the 19th Judicial District will be well served by her appointment.”
