Ribbon cutting opens Raymond C. Hand Pass bridge, and 1.2 mile greenway expansion
The bridge was made possible through a $250,000 donation given by the Charles Hand Family. During the ceremony Mayor Johnny Piper announced that the bridge would be known as the Raymond C. City of Clarksville kicks off the 2010 Christmas on the Cumberland celebration
Entertainment was provided by the band Short Notice, a passionate group of musicians whose name is derived ability to work a set list as spontaneously, as they draw the attention of their audience in short order. Have a safe and fun HalloweenHere is the a list of events, and other basic information to help you have a safe and fun Halloween. ![]() Trick or Treating While Halloween falls on a Sunday this year, Clarksville-Montgomery County has decided not to move the official trick or treating night. They also do not set an official time for trick or treating. Most people would expect trick or treaters between the hours of 6:00pm till around 9:00pm. Fort Campbell has moved their trick or treating night to Saturday; and there, trick or treating is allowed between 6:00pm and 8:00pm. Safety should be a primary consideration for people out and about on Halloween.
