Clarksville Police take Eric Davis into Custody after Fleeing from Officers

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Eric Tyreese Davis is now in custody after fleeing from Clarksville Police.

Around 11:50am, Clarksville Police Officer Evon Parkes was running radar on Warfield Boulevard and clocked a black BMW going 70 mph in a 50 mph zone. Officer Parkes activated his emergency equipment and pulled out behind the car to make a traffic stop.

Eric Davis crashes a BWM into a tree and flees the scene. Clarksville Police locate him later on Mason Court.

Clarksville Police Officer makes 8 Year Old’s Day a Little Brighter

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – When Clarksville Police Officer Evon Parkes went to work on May 11th he did not realize that he would be able to impact a young man’s day in a good way.

The young man, Quintin Fisher, 8 years old, had been working very hard getting ready for a music recital at Fine Arts Night at his school. He had practiced singing the songs, for over two months, in preparation for the big evening.

Clarksville Police report Multiple Car Crash with Injuries closes Riverside Drive for Over an Hour

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – There are conflicting accounts about an accident which occurred on Riverside Side around 12:15pm today.

According to witness accounts, a 2008 Dodge Charger, driven by Jackie Rice, 57, of Clarksville, was traveling north on Riverside Drive, crossed the continuous turn lane into the left southbound lane, striking the rear driver side of a 2008 Ford driven by Michael Culver, 44 of Oak Grove, KY.

Clarksville Police report 7 Year Old Struck after Running in Front of Car

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On February 14th, 2013, around 5:00pm, a seven year old male was outside in the yard with his parents when the postman delivered the mail.

Clarksville Police report Motorcyclist killed on Swift Drive this afternoon

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On July 15th, 2012, around 1:37pm, a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle ridden by a 42 year old male was traveling north on Swift Drive after turning right off of McGraw Street.

According to a witness the rider accelerated on Swift Drive, leaned to negotiate a curve, lost control, went off the right side of the paved roadway into a yard at 957 Swift Drive, hit a cement culvert, causing the rider and motorcycle to go airborne.

The rider died at the scene. The lead investigator is Officer Evon Parkes.

Clarksville Police reports Car Crash on Needmore Road sends Four Teenagers to Hospital

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On March 3rd, 2012, around 2:00pm, the Fatal Accident Crash Team was called to a single car crash which sent four teenagers to the hospital.

According to witnesses and vehicle occupants’ accounts, a 2002 Ford Focus driven by a 17 year old was traveling south (right lane) on Needmore Road at an excessive rate of speed, crossed left of the center line, over corrected, went off the right side of the road, over corrected again, crossed the northbound lane, went off the left side of the road, the vehicle rotated back onto the roadway and came to rest in the southbound lane.

Clarksville’s First Vehicle Fatality of 2012 is a Head-On Collision

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The first vehicle fatality of 2012 was as a result of a head-on collision at the 1500 Block of Madison Street which occurred around 7:40am.

According to witness accounts, a Dodge Durango driven by a 31 year old man traveling east on Madison Street, for an unknown reason, crossed into the west bound lane of Madison Street and collided head-on with a GMC Sierra driven by a 20 year old man.

The 20 year old man died at the scene.

Pedestrian Killed on Fort Campbell Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On October 15th, 2011, around 5:17am, Christopher Rutherford, 24, of Clarksville, driving a 2011 Ford F-150, was traveling south on Fort Campbell Boulevard when he saw a male pedestrian standing in his lane of travel. The 27 year old pedestrian was wearing dark clothing and looking down at cell phone in his hand.
