Clarksville, TN – Last October, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) ROTC Ranger Challenge team dominated at the Bold Warrior Challenge at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Tampa, FL – The national gas price average is $2.47, which is four cents cheaper than last week and 11 cents cheaper than the beginning of the year. Motorists are paying less to fill up especially as crude oil prices are less expensive.
“Gas prices are pushing cheaper for two reasons. Crude oil prices are $10.00 less a barrel than one month ago and U.S. gasoline stocks sit at an all-time record high,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson.
Tampa, FL – The national gas price average is $2.54, which is three cents cheaper than last week, a penny less than last month, yet 30-cents more than a year ago.
Gas prices edged cheaper in the last week as gasoline stocks grew, measuring at 258 million bbl – a stock level not recorded by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) in nearly a year.
Tampa, FL – AAA says that despite crude oil price fluctuation and growing geopolitical concerns with Iran in the last week, the national gas price average has held steady at $2.58 since the beginning of the year. Today’s national average is two cents more than last month and 34-cents more expensive than the beginning of 2019.
“A healthy and growing level of domestic gasoline stocks alongside decreasing demand are two factors helping to minimize gas price fluctuations,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson.
Subaru of America recalls over 120,000 certain 2003-2014 vehicles because Passenger Frontal Air Bag Inflator May Explode
Washington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that Subaru of America, Inc. (Subaru) is recalling certain 2009-2013 Forester, 2003-2006 Baja, 2004-2011 Impreza, 2004-2014 WRX (including STI), 2003-2014 Legacy and Outback, and 2006 Saab 9-2X vehicles because the passenger frontal air bag inflator may explode.
An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
Tampa, FL – AAA says the national gas price average held steady on the week at $2.58, but that could change depending on the movement of crude oil prices due to geopolitical concerns.
Following airstrikes in Baghdad last Friday, which killed Iran’s Major General Qassem Soleimani, crude oil prices increased, causing market speculation about what could happen to gas prices in the near-term.

Tampa, FL – A year-end spike in road trip travel due to the holidays helped to push the national average more expensive on the week – up four cents to $2.58. Compared to last month, the national average is the same price, but 31 cents more expensive than the end of 2018.
“The majority of states saw gas prices increase in the last week – some by as much as a nickel to a dime, but any spikes in gas prices that motorists are seeing will be short-lived,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson.
Tennessee sees 2 cent increase in Gas Prices
Tampa, FL – More than 100 million Americans are taking to the roadways to travel for the holidays, but that hasn’t had a large impact on gas prices. At the start of the work week, only about a dozen states are seeing more expensive gas prices with increases of less than a dime.
“AAA forecasts that 104 million Americans will travel by car – the most on record – for a year-end holiday,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson.
