Knoxville, TN – The No. 13/13 Tennessee Lady Vols (12-2, 1-1 SEC) closes out a two-game home stand with a Thursday night clash in Knoxville against border rival No. 16/16 Kentucky (14-2, 1-1 SEC). Tip-off is slated for 6:02pm CT at Thompson-Boling Arena, with the game being carried by the SEC Network, the Lady Vol Radio Network and SiriusXM.
This marks the 67th meeting between these programs in a series that ranks behind only UT-Vanderbilt (80 games) and now ties with UT-Georgia (67 games) for most times played.
The Tennessee Lady Vols will try to bounce back from a Sunday setback on The Summitt, as Missouri upset Tennessee, 66-64, with a 6-for-9 three-point barrage in the second half providing the catalyst.

Lexington, KY – No. 7/7 Tennessee (12-0) opens SEC play on the road, facing Kentucky (8-6) at Rupp Arena in Lexington on Sunday. Tip-off is slated for 11:02am CT.
This will mark UT’s third straight road affair, with the Big Orange winning at Long Beach State (90-61) and at #18/24 Stanford (83-71) on December 17th and 21st, respectively.
The Lady Vols will be aiming to go 13-0 for only the fifth occasion in school history and for the first time during the Holly Warlick era.

Knoxville, TN – The No. 7 seed Lady Vols (20-13) will put their undefeated second round record on the line against No. 2 seed Arizona State (26-6) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in Tempe, Arizona on Sunday at 6:00pm PT/ 9:00pm ET/ 8:00pm CT on ESPN.
The winner will advance to the Sweet 16 and will play a yet-to-be-determined opponent on March 25th in Sioux Falls. Tennessee advanced to the second round on Friday afternoon by defeating No. 10 seed Green Bay, 59-53, coming from eight down in the first half.
Arizona State, meanwhile, romped to a 74-52 win over No. 15 seed New Mexico State to move along to Sunday.

Knoxville, TN – Former Northeast High School and University of Tennessee guard Kamiko Williams, from Clarksville, TN, celebrated and reflected on the end of one season Monday night and turned her focus toward a new one on Tuesday afternoon, as she met with the media at Pratt Pavilion.
After attending the Volscars, UT’s year-end Athletics Awards Banquet, Williams returned to her apartment Monday night to do some homework. That kind of commitment enabled her to graduate from college in only three years and begin work on a second degree.
Knoxville, TN – Tennessee head women’s basketball coach Holly Warlick announced today the hiring of her first new staff member as Lady Vol standout Kyra Elzy will be returning to Rocky Top as assistant coach/recruiting coordinator.
Elzy, an associate head coach/recruiting coordinator at the University of Kentucky for the last four years, will fill the role held by former Lady Vol assistant coach Mickie DeMoss who announced on April 2nd she was leaving UT to join the WNBA’s Indiana Fever. «Read the rest of this article»
