APSU P.E. Majors help disabled with sports, fitness skills

APSU to offer preschool fitness program in April

APSU health majors to make holidays better for children, mothers at Tennessee Prison
The students – Chelsea Brown, Candiace Dandridge, Amanda Shirey, Tamara Taylor and Lillian Vazquez – are all health and human performance majors. They will provide games, sporting activities and dance instructions to 68 children, ages 2 to 17, and their mothers. “These students are volunteering their time to make the Christmas holidays a little brighter for these often forgotten children and mothers,” said Dr. Lisa Lewis, assistant professor of health and human performance.
