Saturday’s game marks the second time in three seasons that Tennessee (11-9, 4-4 SEC) has faced Kansas State (15-5, 4-4 Big 12) in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. The Wildcats visited Knoxville as part of the cross-conference showcase in 2014, with the Vols claiming a narrow 65-64 victory in that contest.
UT is 1-1 all-time in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge after falling at TCU last season.

New York, NY – Former Austin Peay State University standout Chris Horton was picked by the Grand Rapids Drive with the fifth overall pick in the first round of the NBA Development League Draft, Sunday.
Horton, the ninth player in Division I history with 1,700 points, 1,200 rebounds and 300 blocked shots, put a stamp on his APSU career in a big way this spring.

Clarksville, TN – Former Austin Peay State University (APSU) men’s basketball standout Chris Horton‘s first shot at the pros will come with the Miami Heat.
Horton was announced as part of the Heat’s roster for the NBA Summer League in Orlando and Las Vegas. Horton and the Heat’s first game will be Saturday, July 2nd in Orlando.
