Honda recalls over 300,000 vehicles because Sliding Door may Open while Moving

 

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - NHTSAWashington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that Honda (America Honda Motor Company) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Odyssey vehicles.

A power sliding door that fails to latch may open while moving, increasing the risk of injury.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – There is a multi-law enforcement agency distracted driving blitz coming, August 21st through August 25th, 2018. Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, will be working together, using every tool available to spot and stop distracted drivers.

According to National Highway Traffic Administration statistics, 3450 people were killed in motor vehicle crashes involving distracted drivers and 9.2 percent of fatal crashes were reported as distraction-related.

AAA says 3 out of 4 Car Seats are Installed Incorrectly

 

AAATampa, FL – The Auto Club Group joins organizations nationwide to encourage parents and caregivers to make sure their children are riding in a safe seat.

“Three out of four car seats today are installed incorrectly,” said Michele Harris, director of traffic safety culture, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Too often, we see kids who are in a car seat that’s installed incorrectly or not using an age-appropriate booster seat. It’s a timely reminder to be sure children are safe and secure in the right seat for them.”
