Nissan recalls over 200,000 vehicles because Driver Frontal Air Bag Inflator may Rupture

 

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - NHTSAWashington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2012-2017 NV Cargo and NV Passenger Van, 2013-2015 Titan and Armada and 2011-2012 Infiniti QX56 vehicles.

An inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.

2015 Titan is one of the models being recalled.

Clarksville Police Suspect Arson in Three Vehicle Fires

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that there were three vehicles set on fire in the same neighborhood community in an hour and a half time frame.

The vehicles were set on fire June 11th,2018 between 12:15am and 1:45am at Friar Drive, Storybook Drive, and Short Street. There was a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche, 2006 Nissan Titan, and 2000 Chevrolet Malibu set on fire.

Each vehicle had varying degrees of damage.

4 Year Old Girl Accidentally Backed Into By Vehicle

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville police are investigating an incident that occurred at approximately 9:00pm last night, where a 4 year old girl was accidentally backed into at the Shell Station at 1232 Trenton Road.  The girl was taken to Gateway Medical Center and later taken to Vanderbilt Hospital.

The vehicle was a 2008 Nissan Titan, Driven by Genalle Brown of Clarksville Tennessee.  The girl was with her father, Alwyn Fulson, of Antioch Tennessee. «Read the rest of this article»

Clarksville Police report Fatality Crash at the Intersection of Trenton Road and 101st Airborne Division Parkway

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On December 9th, 2012, around 12:37am, a Honda driven by a 26 year old male was traveling north on Trenton Road.

A Nissan Titan, driven by a 23 year old female, was traveling south on Trenton Road, failed to yield to the oncoming Honda, and made a left turn to go east on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway. The Honda crashed into the Nissan.

Consumer Reports Auto Reliability Surveys shows Ford Continuing to Fall while Seven Japanese Brands Top List

 

Audi and Cadillac make major jumps in Rankings

Consumer ReportsYonkers, NY – A perfect storm of reliability problems has dropped Ford to next to last among the 28 car brands ranked in Consumer Reports 2012 Annual Auto Reliability Survey, while its luxury brand, Lincoln, placed just a notch higher. The findings were released today before the Automotive Press Association in Detroit.

Only two years ago, Ford was Detroit’s poster child for reliability. It cracked the top 10 among brands in Consumer Reports predicted-reliability scores, with more than 90 percent of its models being average or better. Three Car Crash Sends One to Hospital

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentOn August 10th, 2010, around 2:30pm, there was a three vehicle collision on the 76 Connector. 

A Honda Civic traveling southbound on the 76 Connector, driven by Katie Rosson 29, made a left turn and crossed in front of an oncoming Northbound Dodge Intrepid, driven by Cory Buie 23.
