Kosgei, Yator lead Govs to win at Kentucky WesleyanAPSU Sports Information: Cross Country
Kosgei and Yator finished third and fourth, respectively, and the Govs top four runners placed among the top 15. Kosgei completed the eight-kilometer course in 26:27.30 followed by Yator who finished in 26:40.55. Govs, Lady Govs cross country schedules revealed, FridayAPSU Sports: Men’s Cross Country and Women’s Cross Country
The cross country season begins with its annual visit to Nashville’s Percy Warner Park, September 2nd, for the Belmont Opener. Austin Peay hits its second state of the season for the October 10th Fleet Sports/Earl Jacoby Memorial hosted by Alabama-Huntsville. Avery led the Lady Govs for the second consecutive race, finishing the five-kilometer course in 18:55.52. Langat’s sixth-place finish paces GovsAPSU Men’s Cross Country
Langat complete the eight-kilometer course in 25:48.81, finishing sixth out of 70 runners.
