Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department opens New Parking Lot at Clarksville Greenway

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department has opened a new parking lot at the Pollard Road Trailhead of the Clarksville Greenway.

The popularity of the Clarksville Greenway has grown rapidly over the years, and the Pollard Road Trailhead is the most used access point.

The new lot will help alleviate the parking problems and will help visitors avoid parking alongside Pollard Road.

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – Hear ye! Hear ye! The surface parking lot on Second Street facing the Montgomery County Courts Complex will be closed for maintenance on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 25th and 26th.

The parking garage adjacent to the lot, as well as the leased spaces in the garage, will be open as usual and will be accessible from the 1st floor entrance on Commerce Street.

Montgomery County Sheriff official detains aggressive juvenile near Court Complex

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOMontgomery County, TN – Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office had to detain an aggressive juvenile in a parking lot near the Court Complex early this morning.

Inv. Julie Webb was walking to court when she noticed what seemed to be a teenager and adult female yelling at each other in the parking lot near the parking garage.

“I asked the woman, who I found out later was his mother, if she needed help, telling her that I’m a police officer,” Webb said. “She said, ‘Yes, he needs to be arrested.'” «Read the rest of this article»

Suspicious Packages left outside of Walmart on Fort Campbell Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On August 15th, 2011, around 1:41am, officers were called to Walmart, 1680 Fort Campbell Boulevard about two suspicious packages left in the parking lot.

According to witness information, a male and female drove into the lot and started to unload two suitcases in the parking lot, but saw Walmart employees standing outside. The suitcases were then placed back in the car. The male in the car approached the Walmart employees and asked to use a cell phone, but the employees refused to allow him to use one.
