Clarksville Police respond to Shots Fired Call, Turns Out to be Dog Attack

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – A little after noon today, Monday, October 15th, 2018, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shots fired call at 203 Riley Road, Lot #16. Before officers arrived, the nature of the call had changed. It was reclassified as a dog bite call.

Initially, the person calling 911 thought someone had been shot due to the the victims’ wounds. When officers arrived on scene, they found four victims outside of the trailer with dog bites of varying severity.

Clarksville Police release Storm Damage Report

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Strong winds from the early Tuesday morning storm brought down trees that damaged several buildings and injured two people. The local emergency operations center was activated shortly before 6:00am and remained open until 10:00am.

Forty-two storm-related calls-for-service were logged.

Falling trees damaged two house trailers on Riley Road, trapping several people inside one of the homes.

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Riley Road Water Outage

 

Tuesday, October 20th, 2015

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Riley Road to replace a fire hydrant. Low water pressure may affect area residents.

The work is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 11:00am.

The road is open to traffic.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Riley Road to repair a water main leak. The water outage will also affect Randell Drive and Jackson Road. Area residents may experience low water pressure during the work.

The road is open to traffic.

The work is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 12:00pm.

Clarksville Police take Burglar into Custody after he helps himself to some Beer

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On October 19th, 2012, around 10:15am, a Dalewood Drive man came home, found someone had entered his residence and several items were taken. He found Kylan Brock, a man he knew but not authorized to be in the house, standing in the back yard with a beer in hand and another beer in his back pocket.

The homeowner told Clarksville Police Officers that when Brock was confronted about his presence in the backyard, he said he been inside of the residence and got the beer out of the fridge. Police were called, but Brock fled on foot prior to their arrival.
