Manna Café MinistriesClarksville, TN – On August 28th, 2020, Manna Cafe Ministries celebrated their 10-year anniversary and raised $27,000. Guests joined the celebration in person at The Madison Room at The City Forum and virtually online.

“It truly is amazing to reflect back on the past 10 years,” said Kenny York, founder of Manna Cafe. “I tear up knowing this is only possible because of God and this community’s love and support. We’ve grown so much over the years, and we still haven’t even reached the mountaintop.”

City of Clarksville, Montgomery County took on Fort Campbell in Annual Tobacco Stick Softball Game

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts recently joined forces with Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett in an effort to put together a softball team made up of city and county employees who could compete with the always hard-to-beat Fort Campbell team.

The occasion was the 10th Annual Tobacco Stick Softball Game, a friendly afternoon of softball at Heritage Park that promotes more camaraderie than competition among our local government employees, and the Soldiers that serve our nation.

Clarksville Academy Prom 2018 biggest one yet

 

Clarksville AcademyClarksville, TN – Clarksville Academy Prom 2018 was held at Hopkinsville’s James E. Bruce Convention Center, with 158 students participating in this year’s Grand March, followed by dinner, dancing, and a very special after-party.

CA’s Amanda Pitt was one of the organizers of this year’s event. She also had the honor of introducing the couples as they descended the elegant staircase, and stood before a crowd of hundreds of family members and friends.

Austin Peay State University Sports - APSU - Governors - Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) Athletics is amidst its first-ever online-giving campaign, #GovsGive, and there’s still time for you to get involved at www.GovsGive.com

The campaign began 6:00pm, Monday, and will continue as 90 hours of giving to raise $90,000 for Austin Peay State University. Included in that is $25,000 worth of matching gifts directly benefiting Governors Athletics.

Those matches came from several generous donors, including Tom Edwards, Jack Turner, Kevin Kennedy Jr. and Adonia Kennedy, First Advantage Bank, The City Forum, Carl and Paula Henderson, Ed Walls, and Kevin and Lisa Carter.
