The Roundman Memorial Jam set for January 22nd at the Warehouse Concert Lounge and Event Center

 

The WarehouseClarksville, TN – Friends and fans of a local rock-n-roll legend, will gather at The Warehouse Concert Lounge and Event Center,  on January 22nd to raise money for his family.

Gary “Roundman” Curtis died suddenly on November 7th and is being remembered for his generosity and love of music. “Roundman” led the local band “Myth” and was a non-stop music man.  Myth could always been seen and heard around the local club scene, but they were always involved in the Bikers Who Care Toy Run events and outdoor concerts.

Bikers Who Care 31st Annual Leslie W. Watson Toy Run and Benefit Party this weekend

 

Clarksville, TNBikers Who CareThe Bikers Who Care will host their 31st Annual Leslie W. Watson Toy Run and Benefit Party this weekend, September 14th-16th, at the Clarksville Speedway (1600 Needmore Road).

The weekend will include nightly bands, Street Bike Drags, Bike Show, Tatoo Contest, and Bikini Contests. Camping is allowed, and there will be plenty of vendors as well as food and drink.

The Bikers Who Scare Haunted House continues this weekend

 

Clarksville, TN – The Bikers Who Care are holding their 9th annual Bikers Who Scare Haunted House at the old Carmike Theater located at 1955 Madison Street. The Haunted House continues on Friday and Saturday. They are closed Sunday. The final evening to attend is on Monday night. The house opens each day at 7:00pm.  Admission is only $10.00.

As you approach the the haunted house the first thing you see is the line of people who are waiting for their turn to enter the house. Masked actors take turns coming out and entertaining the waiting crowd, As I went inside, Chucky was coming out of the house heading for the assembled crowd bearing a knife in a menacing fashion.

It’s Toy Run Weekend in Clarksville Tennessee

Santa Claus, Grandmas and Harleys rock, roll, roar through town

 

Biker with flagHundreds of local people gathered to watch and wave as Bikers Who Care cycled by to drop off toys for children at Governor’s Square Mall.

The annual ride through town started after noon and ended around 2 p.m. today after navigating a meandering route along Riverside Drive, Kraft Street, College Street and Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Santa Claus, whole families, everybody [it seemed] and their grandma were riding motorcycles through town today in  a seamless, endless flow, much to the delight of people who began gathering late this morning along the route.  And the bikers were cool. «Read the rest of this article»
