Dover, TN – Montgomery Central High School never got its offense into any type of rhythm, December 28th at the Bill Craig Memorial Gymnasium in the semifinal of the Stewart County High School Christmas Tournament, as the Lady Indians fell to the tournament host Stewart County, 65-40.
The loss will drop the Lady Indians (5-5) into a matchup against White House High School on December 30th at 4:30pm, while Stewart County advances to the tournament finals at 7:30p.m. to face Clarksville High School, who defeated Camden High School, 44-32 in the other semifinal game.

Northwest High Lady Vikings beat White House 41-26 for season’s second win
Dover, TN – Northwest High School never trailed in the second half, December 28th at the Bill Craig Memorial Gymnasium, in their losers’ bracket game of the Stewart County High School Christmas Tournament in defeating White House, 41-26.
Leading by two at halftime, Northwest (2-12) scored the first eight points of the third quarter to build a 10-point advantage, 27-17, with 4:06 left in the period.

Montgomery Central Lady Indians roll in second half for 56-41 victory over Northwest Lady Vikings
Dover, TN – Montgomery Central High School broke open a two-point halftime advantage over Northwest High School, December 27th at the Bill Craig Memorial Gymnasium in the first round of the Stewart County High School Christmas Tournament, as the Lady Indians outscoring the Lady Vikings 29-16 to pull away for a 56-41 victory.
Holding a slim 27-25 advantage after the first two quarters, Montgomery Central (5-4) opening the second half with a 13-1 run over the first 3:14 beginning with a traditional three-point play by Tori Moore – just 21 seconds into the second half – and ending with a bucket by Mallory Flake at the 4:46 mark.

Clarksville High Lady Wildcats defense smothers White House in 47-24 victory
Dover, TN – Clarksville High School girls basketball team didn’t allow White House High School to break into double figures in any of its four quarters, December 27th at the Bill Craig Memorial Gymnasium in the first round of the Stewart County High School Christmas Tournament, as the Lady Wildcats rolled to a 47-24 victory.
The game was never in question, as Clarksville High (6-5) scored the first 10 points of the contest – including seven coming from Haley Bearden, who led all scorers with 16 points.
