(Press release by Gregg Schlanger)
As the campaign enters the last four weeks I will be going door to door throughout the district everyday. A calendar is now posted on the website and I am asking volunteers to “Walk the District” with me. We will canvass Mondays through Fridays 5 – 6 PM and Saturdays 11 AM – 3 PM. Please let me know what day you would like to help. I will be happy to add your name to the calendar.
Educator’s Day will be Saturday, July 15th; a day that all educators can demonstrate their support through canvassing the district. We will meet at Red’s Smoke House on the corner of Riverside Drive & Crossland Avenue at 10:30 AM, return there for a free lunch at 12:30 and continue canvassing until 3 PM. Please let me know if you will attend so we can get lunch ordered and help me spread the word to all educators. Let’s “Walk the District” together.
The Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Association stated in their endorsement of my candidacy,
We are proud to support pro public education candidates and feel confident that [Gregg] will be a friend to education on the Commission.
The yard signs are in!! Please help me place them throughout District 5. Let me know if you need one or know someone who does and I will deliver a sign to you.
The financial support has been very generous. Of course more money is needed to get through the last weeks of the campaign. Any amount you might be able to contribute would be greatly appreciated. You can make a campaign contribution on-line through PayPal. Or you can make checks out and mail them to: Schlanger Campaign Fund, 710 Perkins Ave., Clarksville, TN 37040.
Please visit our web site frequently to see what is new.
E-mail or call me if you have any questions or ideas about how to improve Montgomery County. I look forward to “Walking the District” with you. Please forward this message on to others you think might be interested.
YOUR SUPPORT AND VOTE on August 3rd WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can make a difference.
Gregg A. Schlanger
Candidate for County Commission
Montgomery County, District 5
