Montgomery County Parks and Recreation to re-open two parks on May 1st

The Park openings rescheduled from April 24th to May 1st due to forecast calling for severe weather

The Montgomery County Department of Parks and Recreation will be holding ribbon cuttings on Saturday May 1st for two of the Parks they have been working on refurbishing during the last year.

The first will be at 10:00 am at the St. Bethlehem Civitan Park Ballfield Complex located at 650 Bellamy Lane in Clarksville, TN. After the ribbon cutting there will be the opening ceremony for the St. Bethlehem Little League.

The second will be held at 1:00 pm at the Woodland Park Ballfield Complex located at 2910 Woodland Park Road in Woodlawn, TN. After the ribbon cutting there will be the opening ceremony for the Woodlawn Little League.

The Woodlawn park renovation was entirely funded by the Montgomery County Government, while the St. Bethlehem park renovation was co-funded by the Montgomery County Government and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.

If the ribbon cuttings are rained out, they will be rescheduled for a later date. Check for updates on Clarksville Online, if that should occur.
