Clarksville Parks & Recreation offers programs for toddlers and parents alike this fall

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – Calling all parents and children!  The City of Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department is offering programming for our youngest citizens, as well as their parents.

The Toddlers in Action program at the Kleeman Community Center has restarted for the fall. The program, which is from 10:00am to 11:00am each Thursday, consists of activities that stimulate learning and encourages interaction with other toddlers.

Toddlers in Action is open to children 2 to 4 years old and costs $3.00. Community Center ID is required for this program.

Parents of stroller-aged children are encouraged to meet every Tuesday morning from 8:00am to 9:00am for Stroller Time at the Clarksville Greenway, beginning September 20th. Stroller Time is a free program that provides an opportunity for parents to get fit while interacting with their children and peers.

For more information on the Clarksville community centers and the programs they offer, call the Clarksville Parks and Recreation at 931.645.7476 or visit www.cityofclarksville/parksandrec.
