APSU Sports: Austin Peay Women’s Track and Field
Clarksville, TN – Senior Chantelle Grey will represent Austin Peay State University women’s track and field team at this weekend’s Alex Wilson Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, in an attempt to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships.
Coming into the weekend, Grey ranks 47th nationally in the event, based on her 2:07.69 mark achieved three weeks ago at the Spire Invitational. The top 16 in the nation will move on to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, held March 8th-9th in Fayetteville, AR.
The women’s 800m run is scheduled to begin at 12:55pm, Saturday.
