Clarksville, TN – Having lost four games to inclement weather earlier in the season, Austin Peay State University’s softball team will add a home doubleheader versus Southern Illinois this week to its 2013 schedule.
It will be the first of seven home games the Lady Govs will play this week, including opening Ohio Valley Conference play this Saturday and Sunday with a three-game series versus Eastern Illinois.
Austin Peay is currently 7-5, after splitting four games this past weekend at the University of Louisville Red and Black Classic, while SIU will come in with a 10-9 mark after going 1-1 in its own invitational, also this past weekend.
