Doubleheader Scheduled For June 28th
Nashville, TN – Thursday night’s scheduled 7:05pm homestand finale between the Nashville Sounds and Oklahoma City RedHawks has been postponed due to heavy rains in the mid-state area which have resulted in unplayable field conditions.
The game will be made up as part of a 6:05pm doubleheader on Friday, June 28th during the RedHawks’ next visit to Music City.

The Sounds embark upon their first road trip of the 2013 season on Friday, when they’ll play the division-rival Omaha Storm Chasers (AAA-Royals) in the 7:05pm opener of a four-game series. Right-hander Johnny Hellweg (1-0, 0.00) will make the start for the Sounds on Friday and face Omaha right-hander Nate Adcock (0-0, 2.25).
Nashville will play four games in Omaha then four games at Iowa (AAA-Cubs) before returning to Greer Stadium to open their next homestand on Saturday, April 20th against Omaha.
