Austin Peay State University Governors Baseball reschedules Evansville Purple Aces game

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University has rescheduled Tuesday’s postponed baseball game at Evansville. The Govs and Purple Aces will play a 4:00pm, Wednesday, April 24th double header (two seven-inning games) at Raymond C. Hand Park.

Evansville postponed Tuesday’s affair at Braun Stadium after threats were received on Twitter placing the safety of the fans and participants in doubt. After deliberation, Evansville police and University of Evansville personnel determined the safe course of action would be to postpone the contest.

Austin Peay will host Ohio Valley Conference leading Belmont in a three-game weekend league series, beginning with a 6:00pm Friday contest at Raymond C. Hand Park.
