Sean Halton’s two-out RBI single to left off Tucson closer Miles Mikolas was the game-winner for the Sounds, who recorded their fourth walkoff win of the year and the second of the current homestand.

Officers will be ensuring that School Zone Speed Limits are obeyed and also that motorist remember to stop for school buses that are loading and unloading. Motorist must stop for school bus stop signs regardless of the size of the highway.
Fort Campbell Soldier re-enlists live on the radio during Air Strike a program hosted by Clarksville’s WJZM 1400 AM
Clarksville, TN – In what is believed to be a first for the U.S. Army, a Fort Campbell soldier from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team (Strike) re-enlisted on the air as part of the Air Strike program on Clarksville Radio Station WJZM 1400 AM.
As part of the 15th Episode of the highly entertaining program, Sgt. Joe Padula interviewed SPC Ilka Zaneta Luna, from Company B, 2nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault); a re-enlisting Strike Soldier, and her husband Jeramie.

Buchanan, TN – Cyclists from all over America will descend on Paris Landing State Park next weekend, as the “Tour de Paris Landing” bicycle race stages it’s inaugural event.
Sponsored by Pro Cycling Miami and hosted by the Paris Landing Tourism League, the race will cover two days and two stages covering 45 miles each day. Much like the Tour de France, this event is billed as the “Epic Race of America” and will draw competitors from all over the country.
Clarksville, TN – On July 30th, 2013 at approximately 11:20pm an adult and juvenile encountered a black male that approached them in the downtown area and asked for a ride. The man was allowed in the vehicle and then he displayed a silver handgun and pointed it at the juvenile’s head.
The vehicle driver was forced to drive to a Madison Street ATM machine and withdraw money.
Clarksville, TN – Starting August 8th through August 10th there will be a series of events to celebrate Emancipation sponsored by the Clarksville Community Black History Council
On Thursday, August 8th, there will be a Spiritual Convocation at Greater Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 7:00pm.
“Sixteen pastors have been selected across racial, cultural and church denominational lines will discuss four areas connected to the emancipation: bondage, slavery, freedom and unity,” said Pastor Jerry Jerkins.
Montgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Highway Department is closing Mobley Road from Shady Grove Road to Bagwell Road. This closure is necessary for the replacement of pipes that run underneath the roadway.
The closure is expected to last through mid-week. The public will be notified if Mobley Road will be closed longer than expected. Thank you for your cooperation.
