But a technical foul on West Creek (4-7, 2-1 District 10-AAA) for hanging on the rim on a basket by the Knights Daniel Norl turned out to be six-point play for Kenwood.

Norl got credit for the bucket, hit one of two technical free throws awarded after the basket and on the ensuing possession after the free throws Kenya Mosley knocked down a long three to have the game go from 13-13 to 19-13 Kenwood.

Norl would finish with a game-high 26 points.
