See Pirates Galores at this year’s Rivers and Spires Children’s Parade
Clarksville, TN – From toddlers to teens, entertaining the kids is a top priority for the Rivers And Spires Festival. And this year, the Festival will be full of swashbuckling fun as the 11th Annual Children’s Parade takes on a pirate theme.
Kids 12-years-old or younger and accompanying adults are encouraged to join in on the fun and enter the Parade’s themed contest by giving their floats and costumes a pirate flair.

Judging will begin at noon on Saturday, April 18th and the public is invited to come cheer on the parade participants at 1:00pm.
The parade will go on rain or shine, so dress appropriately. The Parade begins and ends at the Family Fun Zone and a full route can be seen on www.riversandspires.com
As with anything, there are some rules that go along with the parade. Children who wish to participate must be accompanied by adult supervision.
Participants may walk the short parade route or ride in a float, but floats must be equal to or less than 10 feet in length and not more than six feet in width not including the vehicle or adults pulling the float. No full size vehicles are allowed and only adults may operate or pull a float.
We love for you to bring swag, but ask that you do not throw it from the floats. Feel free to have your parade walkers hand out as many freebies as you would like. And, as much as we love all our furry friends, for the safety of all those in the parade, only medical assistance animals are allowed.
The Rivers and Spires Festival can’t wait to see you in your pirate best around here this spring. For more information about the 2015 Festival, please visit www.riversandspires.com . Become a fan on Facebook and follow us on Twitter @riversandspires.
