Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s tennis team will be headed to Athens, GA for the first round of the 2019 NCAA Tennis Championships. The Govs will face Wake Forest at 10:00am, Saturday, May 4th, 2019.

The Governors (22-0, 8-0 OVC) will face off with the 22nd ranked Demon Deacons (20-8, 10-6 ACC) for the first time in program history.
This is Austin Peay State University’s first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2010, when they went up against Georgia Tech.
The other match features the hosts of the four-team playoff, No. 2 Georgia, and Southwestern Athletic Conference champion Alabama State. The winner of each match will play one another, 2:00pm, Sunday, for a chance to advance to NCAA Super Regional.
Tickets for first and second rounds in Athens are $5.00 per day for adults and $3.00 per day for youth (college age and younger). All tickets can be purchased at the gate beginning one hour prior to the first match each day.
