Nashville Sounds fall at Round Rock Express, 10-4

 

Nashville SoundsRound Rock, TX – Round Rock Express cruised to a 10-4 win over Nashville Sounds Thursday night. Yordan Alvarez got things going for Round Rock with a three-run home run in the bottom of the first and gave the Express a quick 3-0 lead.

The Sounds hit back-to-back home runs to tie the game up in the top of the fourth. After Andy Ibanez led off with a single, Matt Davidson hit a two-run blast for his 13th homer of the season. Eli White followed him with a homer himself, his third of the year and his second of the road trip. It was 3-3 after four innings.

APSU Baseball falls to Jacksonville State in extra innings, 4-3

 

APSU BaseballClarksville, TN – Down three runs late, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) baseball team rallied to tie the game 3-3 and force extra innings. The Govs, however fell 4-3 in 10 innings to Jacksonville State, Thursday night, in Ohio Valley Conference action on Joe Maynard Field at Raymond C. Hand Park.

Based on information provided by the 20 year old male victim, he was sitting in his truck at the car wash at 2305 Madison Street when a male approached wearing a tan jacket with a firearm in his hand.

City of Clarksville to continue Tree replacement on Franklin Street
