There will be a variety of entertainment throughout the afternoon including various musical ensembles, as well as Hawaiian, Irish, Mexican, Filipino, and Thai dance groups.

Entry to the festival is free. Food tickets are $1.00 each. The number of tickets required to purchase items at each booth will vary. Kids inflatable area wristbands are $7.00 in advance and $10.00 day-of.

“More than 15 countries will be represented at this year’s International Festival,” Event Chair Rick Catignani said. “We will have information booths, craft vendors, lots of entertainment, a silent auction, and much more.”

This will be the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church’s 23rd annual International Festival, and Catignani’s third time as Event Chair. It’s also IC’s largest fundraiser of the year. Last year, 63,000 tickets were purchased by the estimated 7,000 – 8,000 people in attendance.

“This event is about adjoining the parish with the Clarksville community as a whole, and sharing our resources,” Catignani said. “We have such a diverse ethnic congregation, and they bring so much from their various countries. We like to share those gifts with the community.

“The festival is open to the public. There are plenty of covered areas to sit and watch the entertainment. And, there is always amazing food. So we want everyone to come out and join us at this year’s festival.”

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church is located at 709 Franklin Street.
