Clarksville Parks and Recreation now accepting registration for Youth Volleyball League

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Are you looking for a way to ace your child’s activities this winter? Your child can bump, set, and spike their way through the season with the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s youth volleyball league for youths ages 9-14.

This league will give participants the opportunity to play volleyball at the recreational level while still being competitive. A National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) trained coach will work with participants to improve individual skills such as bumping, setting, hitting and serving.

AAA reports National Gas Price Average Jumps by a Dime in One Week

 

AAATampa, FL – AAA says that last week was the first time since early June that the national gas price average jumped more than a nickel in under a few days. On the week, it’s a dime more expensive at $2.66 with half of states seeing prices increase by 10 cents or more.

However, even with the significant increase, the national average is still cheaper compared to last month (-6 cents) and last year (-19 cents).

Clarksville Police seek to Identify a Burglary Suspect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department reports that there were at least four vehicle burglaries over the weekend in the Bellshire Subdivision, off of the Highway 76 Connector.

In one of the burglaries a suspect broke a window out to steal a purse from a vehicle. There have been a couple of videos pieced together and it appears the suspect checked out the vehicles earlier and returned later to smash the window to get access to the purse.
