Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has closed Elder Street from Washington Street to East Union Street for water line leak repair. Traffic will be detoured to Washington Street and East Union Street and Martin Street during the work.
Motorists are asked to slow down when approaching the work zone, obey directional signs and barricades and be alert to utility workers and their equipment.
A water outage and low water pressure may be possible for the vicinity while the work is underway.
The water line leak repair work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 11:00pm.
