Clarksville, TN – Jerry Dexter Moore age 82, of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Monday, November 3rd, 2025 at Centennial Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Nulty officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery.
The Moore family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon.
Masonic Funeral Rites will be held Friday evening at 7:00pm also at the funeral home.
Jerry entered this life on July 19th, 1943 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Carlos “Cotton” Dexter Moore and Margart Thomas Moore. Jerry was a lifelong resident of Houston County and had a love for farming, and music. Jerry retired from TVA after a fruitful career as an electrician, and was a proud member of Masonic Charity Lodge in Cumberland City; he will be greatly missed by both his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving son, Jeff (Elisabeth) Moore; sister, Judy (Tony) Tidwell; precious grandchildren, Chelsea Lyn (Josh) Button, Jeffery Caleb (Jessica) Moore, Christopher (Hope) Flintom, Jerry Micahel Moore; great-grandchildren, Dakota Lyn Button, Emberlynn Elisabeth Flintom, and Elias Walker Flintom.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
