The UT-ASU game is the fifth of seven home tilts in UT’s first 10 scheduled contests. It also is the second of a four-game home stand.
The Lady Vols remain undefeated after shutting down Central Arkansas, 77-34, on Thursday night in Knoxville.
The triumph was Tennessee’s fourth at home this season and came on the heels of a three-game sweep in the Cancun Challenge Riviera Tournament, November 23rd-25th. Alabama State, meanwhile, brings a five-game losing streak into Sunday’s contest.

UT beat a talented No. 20/20 Marquette squad, 101-99, in overtime on Thursday night; held off a previously-unbeaten Oklahoma State squad, 79-69, on Friday evening and closed with a 69-49 victory over a solid South Dakota club on Saturday.
Puerto Aventuras, Mexico – The Lady Vols advanced to 6-0 on the season and went undefeated in the Cancun Challenge, besting South Dakota 69-49 on Saturday at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya Convention Center.

Puerto Aventuras, Mexico – No. 12/14 Tennessee (3-0) plays its first game away from Knoxville this season, as the Lady Vols take part in the Cancun Challenge in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, Thursday through Saturday.
Competing in the Riviera Tournament, the Lady Vols open play vs. No. 20/20 Marquette (1-1) at 5:30pm CT on Thanksgiving night.
UT enters undefeated after winning three straight at home to open the season, rolling past East Tennessee State, 87-49, and James Madison, 89-60, at Thompson-Boling Arena on November 12th and 15th, respectively, before closing out a three-game season-opening home stand with a 68-56 victory over Wichita State on Monday night.

Knoxville, TN – No. 13/18 Tennessee (2-0) closes out a three-game home stand when it hosts Wichita State (0-3) Monday at 6:00pm CT at Thompson-Boling Arena.
UT enters undefeated after rolling past East Tennessee State, 87-49, and James Madison, 89-60, at Thompson-Boling Arena on November 12th and 15th, respectively.
Wichita State comes to Rocky Top with an 0-3 record. The Shockers opened with a pair of road losses at Creighton (66-61) and Oklahoma State (91-67) and then dropped the home opener to South Dakota, 62-48, on Saturday in Wichita.
Knoxville, TN – No. 13/18-ranked Tennessee rolled to an 89-60 victory over James Madison at Thompson-Boling Wednesday night, with senior forward Jaime Nared posting 25 points, nine rebounds and five assists to lead the way for the Lady Vols.

Knoxville, TN – No. 13/18 Tennessee (1-0) is back at Thompson-Boling Arena on Wednesday night, as James Madison (1-1) comes to town for a 6:00pm contest.
This will mark the second straight season these teams have played, with the Lady Vols winning, 81-69, in last year’s season opener in Harrisonburg, VA.
Wednesday night’s game marks the second of three straight at home to open the campaign for the Lady Vols. By the time Texas departs Knoxville on December 10th, Tennessee will have played seven of its first 10 games at home.
