Clarksville, TN – On August 8th, 2016, the Clarksville Police Department, with assistance from Nashville Police Department Tactical Unit, made an arrest in connection with the October 2014 murder of Joshua Simpson.
The arrest was of Leonard Tyrone Talley of Nashville, TN. These charges were handed down by the August term of the Montgomery County Grand Jury.
Clarksville Police report Three Arrests in connection with the October 2014 Murder of Joshua Simpson
Clarksville, TN – Late last week the Clarksville Police Department, with assistance from the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office and the Grady County Georgia Sheriff’s Office, made three arrests in connection with the October 2014 murder of Joshua Simpson.
The arrests include; Erica Evans of Clarksville TN, RC Eason of Gallatin TN, and Jerome Simpson of Megs, GA.
Clarksville, TN – On Sunday, June 12th, 2016, at approximately 12:44am, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shots fired call at 155 Jack Miller Boulevard, Hunter Hills Apartments.
When they arrived, they discovered 20-year-old Darius Walton deceased on the scene. Another male identified as 18-year-old Jordan Choate was injured and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Both individuals suffered gunshot wounds.
Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016, at approximately 9:26am, Officers of the Clarksville Police Department conducted a welfare check at 160 Stateline Road, Apartment 13.
Arriving officers located an adult female inside the apartment deceased. Detectives were able to identify the adult female as 18-year-old Katelyn Thomas (Baldoni). The preliminary investigation revealed Katelyn Thomas (Baldoni) was assaulted inside her residence.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department Detectives are investigating a death at a residence on the 100 block of State Line Road. The deceased individual was found this morning, February 2nd, 2016 at 9:36am.
Based on the information Clarksville Police have and the leads they are following, there does not appear to be any threats to the public.
Clarksville, TN – The February term of the Montgomery County Grand Jury returned indictments on Darcell Dominique Wright in connection with the November 17th, 2015, murder of Dalenzo Russell that occurred at 380 Treeland Drive.
Wright was charged with Felony Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Clarksville, TN – Tonight, November 17th, 2015 at 6:27pm, Clarksville Police Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Treeland Drive, due to a shots fired call.
There was a male victim with one gunshot wound. The shot came from a vehicle that drove past the victim.
The victim is 22-year-old Dalenzo Russell from Clarksville. After leaving the scene by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he died from the gunshot wound.
Clarksville, TN – On November 2nd, 2015 at approximately 5:28pm, the Clarksville Police Department, responded to the 400 block of Georgetown Road in reference to a female who had been shot.
Officers discovered that 21-year-old Angelica Rodriguez was found to have suffered a single gunshot wound to the head. She was transported to Gateway Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.
Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday, October 21st, 2015, members of the Kentucky State Troopers Vehicle Enforcement Unit along with Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies took the suspect in the stabbing death of 31-year-old Stephen Jones from Cherry Tree Drive October 19th, 2015, into custody in Olmstead, KY without incident.
An arrest warrant had been secured for the arrest of Rodney Keith Brown (B/M 35-years-old) for Criminal Homicide (No Bond).
Clarksville, TN – On October 19th, 2015 at approximately 11:30pm, Clarksville Police responded to a reported stabbing at 1560 Cherry Tree Drive.
Upon arrival they discovered a victim in critical condition who was transported by Montgomery County EMS to a Lifeflight landing zone and transported to Vanderbilt University Trauma Center where the victim died of his injuries.
