Final Weekend Closure is Saturday, September 28th from 4:00am until 10:00pm

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation contract crews will completely close I-440 eastbound from the I-65 junction in Nashville to the I-24 junction, including the on and off ramps at Nolensville Road this Saturday. This closure is necessary for final pavement marking, installing rip rap, and final clean up on this project.

I-440 Eastbound between I-65 and I-24 will be closed starting Saturday, September 28th at 4:00am through 10:00pm.

Closures Will Complete Current I-440 Rehabilitation Project

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation contract crews will completely close a one mile section of I-440 Eastbound between I-65 and I-24 in Nashville for ten weekends starting later this month for major concrete repairs.

The repairs are part of a $9.7 million project to widen this stretch of I-440 Eastbound.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department reports Madison Street Lane Closure

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water will have Madison Street closed to one lane of traffic traveling eastbound from Crossland Avenue to Golf Club Lane for concrete repairs. Work is expected to be complete by 2:00pm this afternoon.

Please approach the work zone with caution.

Resurfacing of I-24 to begin Thursday Night

I-24 from Tennessee – Kentucky State Line at Mile Marker 0.00 to Exit 11 at Mile Marker 11.0; Junction SR-76

Montgomery County, TN – Work to resurface I-24 from the Tennessee – Kentucky State Line to Exit 11 will begin on Thursday Evening, May 19th at 8:00pm. Milling operations to remove the existing asphalt will begin at Mile Marker 11.0, in the west bound lanes (only) heading from Exit 11 to the Tennessee – Kentucky State line.

I-24 will be down to one lane each evening from approximately 8:00pm until 6:00am the next morning, starting May 19th through May the 27th, including weekends nightly – west bound lane only at this time.
